Abstract

The article analyses theoretical and methodological aspects of forming the ecological framework as well as the concepts considering the organization of certain territories to save and improve the properties of the natural environment. The article also envisages different methodological approaches of the formation of ecological framework as well as the basic directions and ways for designing it. The algorithm of the formation of landscape-ecological framework is considered in detail.

Due to the fact that the Pavlodar Region is one of the most industrial regions of Kazakhstan and incorporates all the main pollutants of the environment, the major destabilizing factors and levels of geo-ecological conditions of the territory have been identified.

The prospects for the development of ecological framework has been defined and thus, on the basis of the existing system of specially protected natural areas, designing the landscape-ecological framework of the region is being proposed. Such studies promote the improvement of ecological situation in the region and help optimize the sustainable use of natural resources.
