Abstract

Landfills are an important source of environmental pollution, causing great harm to our environment, to human health. The authors of this article proposed another way of describing the state of the landfills, contributing to environmental improvement. The use of GIS technology facilitates the task of monitoring the landfills, allows us to simulate and compare the map data, to choose sites for the polygons.
