Abstract

The article is devoted to the issues of fighting steppe and forest fires as an important economic, social and environmental problem. According to theGoskomstat of the Russian Federation the forest and steppe fires in our country occupy the spaces of one million  hectares of the land on which restoration will require more than one decade.

The possible method of extinguishing the steppe and forest fires with the help of directionalcircumflex emission of extinguishing fire equipmentmeans is introduced. It shows a possible pattern change in the direction of a moving flame twisted from horizontal to verticaldirection with a decrease in temperature inside the rising flow and lowering thecombustion processes. The possibility of suppression ofsteppe and forest fires by means of the targeted firing with thecircumflextargetingreleaseof fire-extinguishing means on the way of the front of fire is proved.

Keywords

steppe and forest fire, extinguishing means, directed circumflex release.
