Abstract

Geo-ecological security is defined as a set of con-ditions, phenomena and processes that support the ecological balance in the world and in all its regions. Geo-ecological security is an integral part of the environmental safety, included in turn in the scope of the

safety conditions of human life, which is possible only when you save the biosphere based on such geospheres as the lithosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere. The area, as a strategic resource of the state, is the scene of acts of bio-sphere processes, the balance of which ensures sustainable development.

Geo-ecological condition of the territory is a function of its geo-ecological structure, any material received by the natural systems becomes part of them, is involved in the cycle, and is subject to the laws of nature.

Geo-ecological standard is a typical geo-ecological condition and typical levels of chemical, radiation and other parameters in accordance with the typical landscape-zonal conditions. The methodology of the geo-ecological area standardization, as a new scientific field, is based on the algorithmization of the interconnectedness of natural processes by means of GIS technologies for environmental safety. Algorithmization of the interconnectedness of natural processes and technical solutions is implemented in the GIS modules as instruments of control and systems of geo- ecological safety. The GIS modules “Geoecological standard” display the settings of geoecological, geodynamic, functional, and bio-barrier structure of the territory and pre-constitute a new way of analytical control of the environment. The created modules, functioning on the basis of algorithmization of the interconnectedness of natural processes, as new-generation devices, provide the customer with the tool for management and regulation of natural resources on physiognomic profile of the territory
