Abstract

The article provides the analysis of the current state and prospects of environmental protection at Russian nuclear power plants. The expectations of the Environmental Policy of JSC “Concern Rosenergoatom” are pre-sented. It is indicated that the main tasks of the environmental services of the NPP is to provide industrial environmental control and monitoring of the environmental situation in the studied area.

It is considered main types of influence of nuclear power plants on surrounding the environment: emissions in atmospheric air, dumpings of pollutants in water objects. Questions of handling of industrial and consumption waste are considered.

The main nature protection actions realized in recent years are presented, the main directions of realization of actions in the field of environmental protection are specified.
