Abstract

The paper studies the features of agroclimatic and ecological conditions of the geoecosystems of botanical gardens in the forest-steppe Chernozem zone. The pecu-liarities of six university botanical gardens, located in the Central Black Earth and Middle Volga forest-steppes are investigated. The comparative analysis of the natural and climatic features of the botanical garden formation and development is carried out. The influence of the recreation, pollution of the air and soils, biological invasions, changes in the hydrological regime of the territories on the transformation of the geoecosystems of the botanical gardens is studied. The estimation of the influence of recreational transformation of natural-anthropogenic forest biocoenoses of the Botanical Garden named after

B.        M. Kozo-Polyansky is given. The necessity of developing the scientific bases for increasing the sustainability of geoecosystems and organizing the botanical garden space is shown.
