Abstract

This paper examines the influence exerted on the environment by a linear industrial facility located on the territory of the federal nature reserve “Klyazmenskiy” during its operation. In 2012—2014 field investigations of aquatic formations, bottom deposits, soil cover, plant communities, fauna, and exogenous processes were performed.

It was established that the operation of the linear industrial facility will not cause changes in plant communities and that the state of plants growing along the route cor-ridor and in the periphery area is considered satisfactory. The animal species typical of the forests and meadows are present within the examined area. The operation of the linear industrial facility does not threaten the species in their habitat. The existing route corridor does not impede any animal migration.

This paper evaluates the effectiveness of the soil re-cultivation works accomplished in the territory of the route corridor and demonstrates the absence of active exogenous processes. In general, it was established that the state of the linear industrial facility is satisfactory and stable and does not have adverse effects on the environment in the examined area.

Keywords
