Abstract

The article is devoted to one of the most important areas of rational nature management, i.e. optimal development of mineral resources with the possibility of complex use of other types of natural resources. One of the most famous in Russia and abroad saline deposits is the Iletsk rock salt deposit, famous for the purity of the chemical composition of rock salt. In the rapidly expanding resort use of mineral lakes on the surface of the field, the extraction of salt, complicated by karst processes, has a number of potential risks.

The paper presents seven stages of the transformation of the surface of the Iletsk rock salt deposit, in particular as a result of the discovery of new quarries and mines, catastrophes, changes in river beds, disappearance and emergence of mineral lakes. The causes of one of the catastrophes of 1979 are analyzed, when large salt lake Razval completely disappeared, the geodynamic reasons for the technogenic transformation of the relief are given. The presence of plastic deformations of salt in the operating mine, and modern karst processes represent one of the most important threats both for the mine salt extraction and actively developing re-sort. In this regard, to keep the existing production and to protect and preserve the recreational value of mineral lakes are possible by deducing salt extraction to deep and super deep horizons.

The main idea of the article is that under the influence of the salt structure on the landscape there is a significant enrichment of the natural resource potential of the territory. This is one of the causes of numerous environmental risks and conflicts. In this regard, the landscapes of salt-dome origin require special attention in the development of the programs for rational nature management and, obviously, in limiting or reducing certain types of subsoil use.

Keywords
