Abstract |
It is revealed that intermountain hollows are characterized by lower potential for atmosphere self-cleaning, besides, in the conditions of the anthropogenic impact, the active pollution of natural environments (air proper, water objects, soils, bottom sediments, biota) and, as follows, the decrease of the quality of human habitat are typical for it. It is established that in urban areas there is a multiple dangerous concentration of harmful substances in the atmospheric air, which has a negative impact on the health of the people living there. In particular, the risk of population's morbidity with respiratory diseases substantially increases, the reproductive health of generations is disrupted. The practice has shown that the stripes of green plantations, the effectiveness of which can widely vary from 7 to 35 %, are sufficiently effective means of combating the pollution of the atmospheric air of the cities by harmful technogenic emissions. |
