Abstract |
The methodological and methodical foundations for the optimization of the structure of land properties on the basis of the concept of agricultural econology, taking into account the requirements of land management science, are considered. The results of the studies conducted in the territory of the Republic of Mordovia in order to reveal economically and ecologically balanced ratio of arable land, meadow, forest and perennial plantations are presented. The results of the research showed that in the territory of the Republic there is an excessive plowing area which ecologically and economically impoverishes the natural and territorial complex of the region. The implementation of the recommendations developed due to the results of these studies initiated the transfer of the agricultural sector management to the soil-typological base. And as a consequence, it entailed the redaction of the plowing area for the past 26 years by 19.5% while increasing the average yield and gross harvest of the main crops by 30-50% and the expansion of the recreation and waste-absorbing properties of the region similarly. To consolidate and develop this positive trend, the system of measures for regional agrarian policy greening is given. It includes further planned afforestation of ravine-gullies and other "waste lands", field protection afforestation with the aim of ensuring the stability of agro landscapes and increasing the role of carbon dioxide gas absorbers. |
