Abstract

The comparative assessment of the vegetation change of alases of  the Lena–Amga and the Lena-Vilyuy interfluve of the Central Yakutia, where they play a large role as the sources of natural forages, is given in the article. In the Lena–Amga interfluve, where deep, generally thermokarst alases on loamy deposits are characteristic, dry varieties of vegetable communities, in the basin of the river Vilyuy with superficial alases on sandy and sandy deposits of various origin damp types are more widely presented. One of the important factors defining the changes of vegetation is the intensity of pasturable loading. In the paper such indicators as the land phytomass, an ecological range, sinantropization degree, degree of floristic similarity are estimated. It is revealed that due to pasturable digressions, the communities characteristic of these areas are replaced by homogeneous communities of anthropogenic origin. Due to intensive pasture almost the same types which are well adapted to a pasture and trampling gradually take root into herbage of alas, superseding the types natural to certain belts of alas. Therefore, a variety of communities is significantly reduced. The intensive pasture can level differences between peculiar communities of the alases of the Lena–Amga and the Lena-Vilyuy interfluves.
