Abstract

The article describes the stages of primary soil formation in the technogenic landscapes formed during the development of gold and antimony deposits in the North-East of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The sites for research are located in the zone of continuous distribution of permafrost. The climate is continental. In this work, the profile-genetic classification of the soils in technogenic landscapes was used, where taxa correspond to the stages of restoration of soil cover. According to this classification, the soil cover of technogenically disturbed landscapes is represented by a class of biogenically undeveloped soils, which is represented by the initial and organo-accumulative embryozems. Furthermore, the article calculated the rate of accumulation of the organic matter in young soils. A comparative assessment of the rate of accumulation of the organic matter in young soils of the North-East of Yakutia is made with respect to technogenic landscapes with different initial soils and located in different climatic zones.
