Abstract

The purpose of the study was to assess the environmental safety and the health of the environment of Kaluga with the method of bioindication, based on the analysis of the magnitude of fluctuating asymmetry of bilateral morphological structures of the leaf blades of FicariavernaHuds. In the used morphogenetic approach, we evaluated the stability of the development. The result of this work is the differences of indicators of fluctuating asymmetry at the studied sites. The most adverse from the point of view of environmental safety areas of the city were identified. The index used to assess the health of the environment of fluctuating asymmetry of bilateral morphological structures of plant leaf blades manifested itself in the ontogeny of each plant exposed to external negative factors, and is convenient for the research. The health of the environment in Kaluga on a scale of Zakharov V. M. was evaluated. Almost in all of the studied regions, the integrated indicator of stability of the development corresponds to the fifth score, what indicates a very low level of en-vironmental safety of the urban environment.
