Abstract

We discuss the problems of complex esti-mation of natural and technogenic hazards for the Northern Caucasian Region. Presented technique includes following stages: classification of the hazard processes by types and provoking factors, identification of the set of the analyzed hazards for the area under study, development of the rules for ranking evaluation of the source factors' values and calculation of the integrated ranks characterizing the complex risk level for the region. Zoning results allow us to identify the most dangerous areas for social, industrial and tourist activities at the Northern Caucasian Region.

Keywords
