Abstract

Waste from the development and exploitation of oil and gas fields, is the source of pollution and aggregate stable suspensions and emulsions in the structure of which carcinogenic polycyclic aromatic compounds containing sulfur, oxygen, nitrogen, trace elements and ions of heavy metals, as well as incidental water may be included. This paper presents the techniques of useful utilization of highly mineralized incidental water, ac-companying oil extraction with getting commercial products (sodium perborate, magnesium oxide, lithium carbonate), as well as the utilization technology of the various hydrocarbon fractions included in the sludge, processing of which can produce automotive fuel and building material.

Keywords

recycling, oil sludge, incidental accompanying water, distillation, cracking, extraction, precipitation, chemical adsorption, encapsulation.
