Abstract |
Nowadays the methodological support for regions' strategic development characterization and planning is be-coming a relevant objective. The diagnostics as an initial stage of strategic planning is of great importance to management for socio-economic development of a region. In the article, we proceed from the fact that region's development effectiveness depends on the socio-economic level, measured due to an appropriate and effective model of the information analysis system of diagnostics and monitoring regional socio-economic problems and situations. Regional monitoring is a special and full-time system of collection and analysis of statistical data, undertaking additional information analysis research (e.g. public opinion polls) and state development trends and severity of regional problems state estimation. Its central task is to create a reliable and impersonal base for the formulation of State policy of regional development monitoring and determination of its priorities with a focus on taking steps to selective government support for some regions and fixing regional specific problems. |
