Abstract

The studies of present trends in the change of agro-climatic conditions for the successful functioning of the agricultural environmental management with increasing number of dangerous processes are included in the scope of food security tasks. The article presents a list of indicators reflecting a range of natural-climatic phenomena, which reduce the efficiency of agriculture in the southern taiga of Western Siberia. The definitions of the criteria characteristic of the indicators of dangerous and adverse natural-climatic phenomena are explored by the authors. Using GIS technology has allowed to create a full-scale geo-database compiled on the indicators and to make spatial analysis, giving the opportunity to follow the dynamics and localization of these phenomena. The study results can be used for the development of the regulatory requirements on forming the strategy for region sustainable agricultural environmental management.
