Abstract

The simple dynamic model describing the interaction of the biomass of ecological systems and the resources is proposed. This model is based on the fact that an ecological system is able to accumulate resources necessary for its own existence in the area where the system is localized. Some properties of this model are investigated. In particular, it is shown that for the proposed model there can be stable steady conditions with a non-zero density of the biomass and resources.

The reactions of the ecological system on the removal of a part of the biomass and the increase in the level of negative impact are studied. It is shown that the capacity of the system to self-restoration is implemented only within a limited area of its states. The possibility of expanding the proposed model for the description of more complex tasks is discussed.
