Abstract

The article shows the summer dynamics of biogenic elements and heavy metals in the water of the Ivanovka River. As a result of the research, it was found that in the surface waters of the Ivanovka River the content of ammonium nitrogen did not exceed the hygienic standard, according to the content of nitrates the water corresponded to the class of water quality “contaminated” and “dirty”, the content of nitrite nitrogen corresponded to the standard. The increased iron content was noted, and manganese content was below the maximum permissible level during the study period. The content of such highly toxic elements as lead and cadmium during the warm period due to cultural and household standards is below the maximum permissible level and for fisheries standards there is a slight excess of these elements.

Keywords

small rivers, maximum permissible level, section of the river, sampling, pollution, biogenic elements, heavy metals.
