Abstract

Some possible ways for the improvement of theecological situation in Krasnoyarsk and its vicinitiesby the creation of the directed streams of air blowingalong the Yenisei River are considered. The articlepresents the ways of partial change of the direction ofthe air streams blowing over the reservoir of the Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power Station with the help ofthe directed, sliding screens installed over a dam; ofterrace plantings of trees along the bank of the Yenisei River; of the artificial air streams located nearthe city creating a suction and the movement of airmasses along the Yenisei River. The possible ways forthe reduction of the ice-hole aregiven in the IrtyshRiver and to decrease in fogs over the neighbourhoodof the city of Omsk.
