Abstract |
At present, one of the main causes of water bodies’ pollution is the discharges of industrial wastewater. Therefore, the goal of the work is to select materials that are either extracted or produced due to the processing of metallurgical raw materials that can be used in wastewater treatment processes. In the course of the study it was established that organic wastes, flotation agents, sodium and potassium salts are contained in the waste water of the Norilsk concentration plant. Marl, dolerite, burner, small and large sawdust, sand were used as adsorption materials. Preliminary results showed that it is expedient to use sawdust and sand for cleaning sewage from oil products. It was found that all these materials absorb the dissolved salts in water well. |
