Abstract

In the context of the implementation of the Federal State Educational Standards of the new generation, any kind of educational and after-school activities should have a purposeful educational character, since the content of education allows the student to design or enlarge personal knowledge by deepening the humanitarian and natural-science component. The variative part of the curriculum allows us to introduce and implement various meta-subject educational programs, the themes of which are related to worldview and life-long issues. One of the areas of after-class activities is environmental education. Schools independently develop comprehensive targeted programs and programs for the development of environmental orientation. Subject and meta-subject projects on environmental issues contribute to the formation of both universal educational activities and competences, and ecological culture of schoolchildren.
