Abstract

The article gives a brief description of the enterprise PAO “T-Plus” (CHP-1 city of Penza). The goal of the research is to use more economical and simple materials for wastewater treatment in the studied enterprise. A brief descriptionof the raw materials entering the enterprise and the technological process is given. As a result, it was concludedthat water pollution mainly occurs during the operation and repair of fuel oil facilities, as a result of leaks in oil coolers ofthe turbines, feed pumps and cooling of various rotating mechanisms of the boiler and turbine equipment. Pollution also affects storm sewage from the territory of the fuel oil facilities, warehouses, workshops and repair and construction sites, and water from washing vehicles. Two processes of watertreatment are considered, which include its preliminary purification in clarifiers with subsequent purification on mechanical filters and two-stage desalting in ion-exchange filters. The comparative characteristic of the activated carbon and the proposed diatomite is given. The article provides an economic rationale for replacing the old filter material with a new generation of sorbent.

Keywords
